Fuelling Customer Mission: Ambrose Treacy College, Indooroopilly

With the support of ADF loan funding, Ambrose Treacy College has completed the Waterford Building as part of the College’s ongoing commitment to providing a nurturing and future-focused environment for students. 

Opened at the beginning of the 2025 school year, the Waterford precinct now serves as a central space for senior students, offering enhanced facilities that support learning, leadership and community life. 

The new building includes 14 classrooms, a 200-seat lecture theatre, expanded staff and student amenities and dedicated spaces for drama and hospitality studies. Its design features glass panelling inspired by Waterford crystal, honouring the Irish heritage of Blessed Edmund Rice and the College’s spiritual foundations. 

Already in use for key events such as the Year 10 Careers Expo, the Waterford Building reflects the College’s mission to nurture young people of faith, service, and learning. “It is rewarding to support Ambrose Treacy College in delivering contemporary spaces that enrich both learning and community connection,” said ADF Relationship Manager Liz Sherratt. “The Waterford Building provides students and staff with facilities designed to support collaboration, opportunity, and growth for years to come.”
