Fuelling Customer Mission: Marist College, Ashgrove

With support from the ADF, Marist College in Ashgrove completed construction of the St Marcellin Centre in 2024, delivering a contemporary primary school building designed to enhance learning and teaching across the College. 

Designed by Phorm Architecture + design and constructed by Stokes Wheeler, the St Marcellin Centre features 10 new classrooms, administration offices and a dedicated primary staff room. The building represents the first stage of the College Master Plan, developed in collaboration with architects Phorm Architecture + design and urban planner Urbicus, whose principals are proud Old Boys of the College. 

“Our new building is a dynamic learning environment that has not only allowed us to diversify and share our teaching practices with colleagues but has also enabled us to cater more widely to our diverse learners,” said Catherine Barnett, Acting Head of Teaching and Learning (Primary) at the time of project completion. “The flexibility of the spaces has been carefully designed and considered for collaboration, engagement, and personalised support for all our students.” 

The St Marcellin Centre supports the college’s mission of academic excellence, faith formation and student-centred learning. “It is exciting to support the Marist College in delivering contemporary, flexible spaces,” said ADF Relationship Manager David Mansul. “This investment enhances their ability to provide personalised, high-quality education for primary students.”
