Fuelling Customer Mission: St Joseph’s Tobruk Memorial School, Beenleigh

In 2024, St Joseph’s Tobruk Memorial School marked 70 years of Catholic education in the Beenleigh community, a milestone in a journey that began in 1954 with just 97 students. 

Across seven decades, the school has grown alongside its community while remaining anchored in its mission of faith, learning and service. Now transitioning to a full three-stream model and nearing capacity across Prep to Year 6 with approximately 530 students, St Joseph’s is planning confidently for continued growth. 

To support this expansion, the school has invested in contemporary learning facilities. With funding support from the ADF, a new Prep classroom block has been constructed on the site of the former Outside School Hours Care building. The precinct includes three general learning areas, dedicated resource rooms, storerooms and purpose-built Prep amenities, providing a functional and welcoming environment for the school’s youngest students. 

“It is a privilege to support a school with such a strong history in the Beenleigh community. It is wonderful to see St Joseph’s continue to invest in contemporary learning spaces that enable students to begin their education with confidence,” said ADF Relationship Manager Stephany Yang.
