What We Do

The Archdiocesan Development Fund has been financing the Catholic Church’s mission for almost 50 years. The ADF operates within the Brisbane Archdiocese, which stretches south to the Gold Coast, west to Gatton and Kingaroy and north to Hervey Bay and Childers.

The ADF has an exclusive focus on Catholic Entities, which has allowed us to develop a unique understanding of the needs of stakeholders, which allows us to build strong long lasting relationships and to deliver effective and efficient solutions.

Who We Serve

The ADF services a range of Catholic Entities including Parishes, Religious Institutes, Archdiocesan Agencies and other Catholic works approved by the Archbishop. This incorporates initiatives across many ministries including education, aged care, healthcare, welfare, childcare and pastoral programmes.

Our Strategies and Objectives

All our activities are undertaken within the framework of the ADF Governance Policies, the ADF Operating Policies and ADF Risk Management processes.

We are committed to:

  • Maximising the use of Catholic Church funds by providing competitive loan and investment rates to our Parishes, Schools, Religious Orders, Catholic Health and Aged Care Entities, other Church entities and agencies of the Archdiocese, and
  • Assisting Parishes, Schools and Other Catholic Church organisations with a high standard of personal customer service in a range of financial products and support in the form of advice and expertise.
